Eat Better.
Invest in your health.
Whole -food, plant-based.
Time and time again, science has proven that eating a whole-food, plant-based diet is the most health-promoting and one that extends your longevity. Science says some plants have more protein and that we even digest plant protein more efficiently. It has also never been easier to eat to find or cook delicious and diverse meals.
Fast or Feast.
There are 5 stages of fasting that all provide positive effects. At 18hr ketosis, 24hr autophagy, 48hr growth hormones peak, 54hr insulin drops, 72hr your body starts to heal itself. Intermittent fasting is just a baby step into this world and we should all be integrating more prolonged fasts into our weekly, monthly routines.
Organic, grass-fed, hormone-free.
When you indulge in any animal products, it is important that the animals are eating what they would be naturally. Chickens eat grubs and grain, cows eat grass. Noone eats soy, corn, or wheat. Organic as much as possible. Always non-GMO. And it is best if you know which farm they grew up on too.

Tweak #1: 3 liters a day minimum
We are all dehydrated. The simplest thing you can do for yourself is to drink at least 3 liters of water a day. Simple does not mean easy, but it is important. Start your morning with at least 500ml to hydrate from 8-10 hours of not drinking and to flush out the toxins built up overnight. Water consumed in the form of tea, coffee, fresh-squeezed juices, and eating raw fruit and veggies count too. When you drink more water, you are less hungry and therefore eat less. Did you know that there are six different types of hunger? Drinking more water helps clear your skin, helps you think better and feel better. All positives with the exception of way too many bathroom breaks.
Tweak #2: Question everything you think you know
Nothing can be taken at face value any longer. Big ag, big pharma, big ad, and politics have their fingers in everything influencing and manipulating us to benefit their bottom line. But the good thing is that we live in the age of information so as long as you have the internet, everything can be researched and cross-checked. The only person looking out for your best interest is you. When something seems too good to be true, it generally is. But when you start to question things, it also pushes you to learn more about where your food is coming from, how it is grown, and who grew it.
